Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CoFounder Quest is operated by Puddle Pod Pty Ltd (ABN 89 652 445 451). When we say “we”, “us”, or “our”, we mean Puddle Pod Pty Ltd. When we say “you”, we mean you, the person using our service.

2. What the service does

CoFounder Quest is a co-founder matching platform. We use AI to suggest one potential co-founder match to you each day. You can choose to accept or decline each match. If both parties accept and pay, a private chat is opened between you.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use CoFounder Quest. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately.

5. Payments

When both you and your match accept a connection, each party pays $10 AUD to unlock the chat. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Payments are non-refundable, with one exception: the anti-ghost guarantee described below.

Anti-ghost guarantee: If your match does not send a message within 24 hours of the chat being unlocked, you will receive an automatic full refund of $10 AUD plus $5 AUD in in-app credit toward your next connection. This refund and credit are processed automatically. No action is required on your part.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Provide false or misleading profile information
• Attempt to circumvent payment requirements
• Scrape, data-mine, or reverse-engineer the service
• Create multiple accounts

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

7. AI-generated content

Our service uses artificial intelligence to generate match suggestions, compatibility scores, talking points, and profile analysis. These are provided as suggestions only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content, and you should exercise your own judgement when making decisions based on it.

8. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you submit (profile information, messages, etc.). By using the service, you grant us a licence to use your content as needed to operate the service, including for AI processing and match generation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoFounder Quest and Puddle Pod Pty Ltd are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

We do not guarantee that you will find a co-founder through our service. We do not guarantee the suitability, reliability, or character of any user on the platform.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a notice on the service. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
